If you were in Portland tonight at sunset you certainly had a visual extravaganza the likes of which we have seldom if ever seen! What a sky! I painted it from memory. It was what is called a "mackerel sky"

I was lg at that sky for a little while myself; thinking about how I would do it in watercolor but I certainly didn't come to such a rapid beaut of a solution as you!
