Revisiting the summer

In the midst of a big winter storm, I thought it might be fun to think about the summer during the winter. I revisited some scrap from the summer to paint this. I hope the sun comes out for real soon....because I am nearly out of white paint! This is why one should have extra white...for days like this. Tomorrow's painting might have to be of something monochromatic blue!

Celeste, I really love the sky in this painting. Cerulean blue with big billowy clouds. Makes me wish for summer! Awesome painting.

thanks....er "goooooooooood girl" that is great that you are interested in oil painting. I have a feeling you like a lot of blogs.

Thanks Janelle! You know your blues. It was fun to think of the summer..and remember it --like listening to a favorite song.
