Today was Quin Sweetman's Artist's Reception at Broderick Gallery in Rainier. Quin is committed to painting outdoors. She is an impressionist who loves golden light as well as blue moonlight. The food was exceptional and it is always such a pleasure to visit George Broderick. Broderick Gallery is located in the oldest house in Rainier. It was built in 1851 as an overnight rest stop for travelers on the Columbia River...don't you think the original owners would be happy that their house is still used for travelers..? Travelers of art.
