I am submitting five small pieces to the Columbia Art Gallery for the "Small Works" show. All my proposed pieces are landscape. I enjoyed spending time today signing, varnishing and framing....and I am anxious to see what all the other participants are submitting. Reception: Dec 4, 2009 6-8pm

A beautiful painting and the framing looks great ... really shows-off the scene! Your work will greatly enhance the show.
framing is a "science" i don't domain .
but i like all you have showed about on this blog Celest . you have a sober taste . and make the pretty frames never still the attention of the paintings .
if one day i had to choose frames to my works , i would want heavy barroque dark woods around .
hahahh!!
see you . hope you exhibition gives all you want and expect .
good luck with the exhibition Celeste, this one is beautiful, and the frame just gives it such a special touch. r.
Wow... and a blue ribbon would look great on this frame also.
It looks great framed, and I'm sure all the others do too. The right frame can really make an already great painting sing.
