your paintings are always so soft and dreamy...
you have made an effective use of drawing our eyes in with the stream running towards the center like that...

really pulls you in...
ciao!

Oh my! What a beautiful painting and a beautiful spot! I love the lilac color in the distance...wild lavender mayhaps? The fun is in the dreaming and this painting fosters that for me. Gorgeous, but then no surprise there for me, Celeste. Just as always.

Very nice going from the higher chroma green to that gray.
I do not have any green is my winter world right now

Celeste your paintings have feeling and this one's a song.

Loving this and the previous post Urban Blight. The colors and the feel on both are dead on. Nice work, Celeste

Dear Celeste,

It is cold today and we are expecting rain that I welcome. Your painting feels like an old friend or a favorite book one pulls from the shelve and reads again.

Though the stream is in Oregon, it still feels like one I have visited before, sitting on a rock, forgetting time as I listen to the water trickle past.

Thank you for sharing my friend.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
Egmont
