J'apprécie le choix du format de votre toile pour traité cette composition. Il apporte à votre peinture une magnifique atmosphère. L'harmonie des couleurs est aussi très intéressante. Bravo!
I love how the red-purple roofs keep my eyes from flying out the top of the canvas, and then the birds fly me back in. The green siding is really cool. I'm especially intrigued by the strong red and blue in the darkest shadows. I really need to see this beauty in person...
I am not sure why this painting appeals to me so very much...Your signature brush strokes for sure, but the color of the house, the style of the house, the composition as a whole...I just find this piece very soul soothing. So very lovely, Celeste!
Hi Celeste, taking a moment while the dragonfly is drying and the tile is resting to check out the blogs I follow. I do love your of composition. I also like the way that green and purple go together. They are picking up the red and yellow from each other and just adding to the mood. I also like the sky.
I want to say how much I admire all of your oil paintings. This one, in particular, is very evocative. You have a freedom of style that is unique and wonderful.
This is excellent - there's a real feeling of unity about the painting(a great advatage of the limited palette). And the elongated composition is inspired!

Interesting composition, the narrow focus- another one which verges on abstraction.
Hi Celeste,
I like very much the mistery, the possibilities and the colors. Very nice!:)
Almost kind of haunting in a way. Wish is it was my house! I like it!
Best wishes!

excellent celeste
good values and color harmonie
I love this. The narrow panel helps to tell the story of the little doorway tucked into its own little space in the world... Very nice!
This painting really draws me in with the vertical composition and great colors!
There is so much to like in this painting! Everyone here has expressed it all so well. Just beautiful!! Wish I could see it in person!
As the others Celeste I love the vertical format, but above all the dramatic + shadowed feel you captured with your palette. Nice, nice, nice......
Love the long composition and color choices.
Congratulations on the sale of the painting from the restuarant!
Just WOW! You already have me looking at backs of buildings--now I'll look at parts of buildings.
