We sketched today at
Carolyn's house and then
Carrie & I got to paint at
Mark Larsen's studio...where we painted flowers. My beloved Triumph Spitfire winters over in Carolyn's garage. Each week I start the Spitfire up to keep her running. She is a 1975 Spitfire 1500 (nicknamed "Honey") --my pride & joy!

Wow I drove one of those could never afford one but how I loved the times I got the chance to drive one. I love the spontaity of all those paintings. Thanks again Celeste for your words.
I love your sketches, Celeste. In fact, on the Behind the Scenes blog, I always can tell the Celestes from the rest! I hadn't realized Spitfires were Triumphs. I love classic cars!!
"Honey" is sweeeeet!! Nice car. Your sketches are great and it's wonderful to find that you have such a dynamic group to work with.
I had a spitfire in my single days! Loved it...
Thanks for showing us your Honey. Awesome!
Honey is good for many things!
Drawing with friends is too!
You seem to have such an active life style..
I'm happy to swing through the zoo!
Now, I don't know why I wrote that!
To be positive, and humorous, which
is what I envision sketching with friends is all about!
Thanks Celeste!
I called yesterday a "Progressive Sketch crawl" like that progressive dinner fad several years back. Thanks for a great day of Art Making.
