Just visited PPASP and viewed all the wonderful paintings and your photographs. I hope to see this lavender farm one day - beautiful place.I like both your paintings, Celeste. Both are lovely!
I like a lot how you do the tree... very free
Celeste,Working in horticulture for as many years as I did, Lavendaer ranks very high at the top of my list of my all-time favorites. You have captured the gray greens and purples with finess!Enjoy the day,Brian
I love both of these paintings, Celeste. The oil is just exquisite with that sun-dappled ground and gorgeous blue skies. Love the split rail fence and trees always make me swoon. The watercolor is much looser but I am awed by how well you've placed the various pieces of the composition and the almost architectural rendering look of the piece. Gorgeous - as always!
That landscape is a total beauty!! WOWWEEEEE!! I love it. Can you tell? Great sketch too. How do you do it??? Passion at work.
Sounds like a place I'd like to visit.
Celeste - I've been away from the blogsphere for so long that I've missed many of your great posts. I'll take some time and read through them. Looks like you're as productive as ever!
CelesteThese are gorgeous paintings! My favourite is the first. Both are wonderful.I love the looseness and the movement. These are so fresh. Delicious paintings!

Mary Jane said it: These are fresh and delicious.
I love these. Especially the oil. I'm very impressed with your progress. What you brought to your painting career and what you work to make happen are coming together. I see your own voice emerging. And it's fresh and lovely.
