Our Model felt faint during the session, (oh, that's right! Models are people too!) so we had to take more breaks than usual (so she could recover). She was super-professional and soldiered on despite feeling poorly. I was moderately successful in capturing her facial likeness..but I hope I get another chance (....and that she doesn't give up life modeling)!

She's very pretty. Celeste- your use of color and tone is always amazing. I can't imagine being a life model- I wouldn't have the attention span for it.
This is a wonderful painting of the model, I like how you have used so many different paint colors, especially in her hair. Your paintings have a lot of life. It's so much fun to paint models, they bring a whole nother element to the painting session and the painting, I think.

Beautiful people in Portland--love the painting.
Cool painting! She reminds of Morticia Addams - long and cool. You captured that. Hope she feels well - tell her not to lock her knees (he said from the peanut gallery).
Absolutely beautiful, Celeste.
Love the paint on this beautiful face Celeste! So much energy.
Lovely! I love all the highlights in her hair, you captured that glossy feel perfectly.
This is a really nice portrait, Celeste. I especially like the blues in her hair and her lovely face was captured with your brush. Well done!
the work with colors on the heads portrait is fantasic .
and the nude is so sober and elegant .
wonderful works , Celeste .
Beautiful painting, Celeste. I can't even imagine attempting to paint the human figure. I'm in awe.
I loved the tonal values in this work. I like the way you have done her hair. so silky and soft. I have never worked with a model so far, exception was my sister who sat in front of me not withstanding my pestering:-)
Wow she is beautiful - i love the natural form and color of her body. i sense pride in her counternance - who wouldn't want to model for you! you give a second, vibrant life to your subject.
