This is painted on one of those thick wood panels with a hole drilled in the back (so that it can "go frameless"). After I finished painting it, I wished I'd painted it on a regular panel like I usually do (so that I could consider framing it in the frames I prefer). Thanks Don and Dale! Dale, I just think it would look nice in a frame. Those birch panels are about 1/2 inch thick. Won't fit in the frames that I like.
I can always frustrate my framer if my canvases are too deep; I
understand the panel regret.
But on the upside, that tree reflection is won.der.ful.

The reflections in the water is so lively and fluid.. all the other colors have just flowed like a poetry.. I like the idea of doing it on a wooden panel..nice idea:-)
