"Women's Forum" in Corbett, OR

My Mom used to say: "there's enough blue in the sky to make a dutch boy's pants". I thought of her today when I painted a spot of blue in the otherwise overcast sky. To see the other painter's results, go HERE.

Painting: Celeste Bergin, Women's Forum Overlook, 2010, Oil on canvas panel 12 x 9 inches.

Your mom is beautiful, Celeste! Is she still with you? At any rate, I can see that good looks run in your family. Love this plein aire piece. It truly is beautiful and I was honestly awed by all of the plein aire group's pieces. What a beautiful location you chose!

I think your mother was right! Beautiful blues and soft edges. Well done!

A wonderful spot of blue.

And a beautiful mother--the sayings stick with us.
