Day Three--Pacific Northwest Plein Air 2010

I arrived a little late-ish to the Springhill Vineyard in Mosier. The scenery was dominated by dry blonde grass.

Hi Celeste... My Mac is still video card-less, so I haven't had much time to visit my blog friends of late. I really like what you've been up to. It's inspirational to see all of your work going by. I love your colors and composition on this one. I also loved yesterday's piece, as well as your beautiful sunflowers from a few days ago.

Absolutely beautiful location for this day of plein aire painting. How cool to have a group of artist friends to paint with!

I love your mountain field, Celeste. You've captured the bit of life left in some of the plants as well as the later summer dry grasses. The colors in the mountain itself are beautiful!

Glad to see pics of you in there, too. These slide shows are fascinating to watch. The easels. The hats. The gorge scenery.

Hi, Celeste. What a great event. It looks spectacular and you did wonderful work while you were there. Love the spontaneity of the one from Day two, especially.
