I find it interesting to follow my own path of thoughts when viewing art. I instantly thought of a small village in Italy upon seeing this piece. How nice to be transported by a beautiful piece of art!

Those shadows make for an excellent composition. And I love how the redness of the scooter just pops against the green in those aforementioned shadows.

What strikes me here is how you "see". And it is that seeing that makes you the artist you are. I'm always intrigued.

You are putting a lot of yourself into your paintings. And this one is a prime example. Truly art...truly beautiful.

This is wonderful, Celeste. All those before me have said it better than I. Love the colors and soft edges and that long shadow.

Beautiful work, the impressionistic technique in combination with the subject matter is very piquant.

i love this piece, Celeste. Those diagonals give real energy and interest and as Don says, the red really delivers against the blues. But beautifully modulated with impressionistic pain management in a style i'll describe as scooter-figurative abstract expressionism!

Hi Celeste, FESTIVE! I like the design too; it supports your fun scooter so nicely.

I like how you treat edges in this and throughout your other work too.
