sketching in front of a Pizza place in Hillsdale

I've had a lot to do lately and I've fallen behind in commenting on my fellow bloggers blogs...forgive me, I promise I will visit you all soon! Today I sketched some with Carrie after the PPASP meeting. I am busy gearing up for Friday and Saturday--(Art in the Heart - Downtown Vancouver). I framed up lots of new things today--I'm officially out of D-rings.

Oh I think this is one of my new faves, Celeste. I'm not sure why, but I love the bit of watercolor added to the sketch. It looks amazing! (Please come teach me to draw better, ok?? My stuff always looks wonky!)

Good luck this weekend! Don't you just hate framing days? Painting is way more fun. ...although it is rewarding seeing our little babies all framed up.

The sketch is great; sounds like you're working hard at presentation, too.
Best wishes for Fri & Sat.

Good luck this weekend! This is really a wonderful, loose sketch. I love how you hinted at color without it looking like you've filled in a coloring book page (which is my way!)

Isn't it amazing to see all your work framed and put up in the same place? Looking forward to hearing about how your weekend goes!

I continue to enjoy your sketches! If you're in the H.R. area soon, I have a plethora of "D" rings. (I seem to remember someone loaning me several frames once.)

D rings and the Leatherman tool. I hate that part.

Nice sketch. Good luck this weekend.

You twit! :-) You were supposed to be doing architecture. Now I know why you were hiding your sketch under the table.

Unfortunately I'm behind in commenting too - but my busy seems much less rewarding than yours. Love the sketch!
