Little Pumpkin

Painting, Celeste Bergin, Little Pumpkin, oil on 8x8 hardboard panel (Update: SOLD!)

Thanks to Linda Popple I found out that today is International Artist Day. Hey, you were supposed to take me to lunch! --(unless you are an artist too and then maybe I was supposed to take you to lunch?) Well, in any case, it is very cool to have our own day (I think!), so Happy International Artist Day! Hooray!

Thank you very much and an International Artist Day to you as well. You celebrated quite nicely with a lovely little pumpkin. Cool.

I didn't know there was such a day! Guess I'll have to take myself to lunch :-). The pumpkin painting is beautiful and reminds me that I haven't bought mine yet. Off to the farmstand ...

Laugh out loud. Yesterday I was sick at home, and so I started burning up Facebook. I posted three or four historic items about the 25th, and yet missed the artist's day one. Of note: yesterday was Picasso's birthday (129).

Great still life!!

This makes me want to go out and buy a pumpkin. I usually just go with the natural spider webs as decoration.
