That is a fine painting! I was out behind my studio tonight watching a similar play of light, Nice to see you capturing it!
Outstanding. I went, "oooooohhhhh," when I saw it.
You've got to know how good this is! Right? So very pleasing to the eye. Excellent!
I'll second Casey's "ooooooohhhhh" and add my own "aaaaaaahhhhh".-Don
make sure you get a good price for this.
Three elements that caught my eye: Great dark shapes, the bits of warm/red colors, and the exciting reflected blue on the lake. Beautiful, Celeste!
Nice! I especially like the sweep of water into the painting.
I do like yourwroks with water, and the meanders to the horizon.
thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog, celeste.Sounds like you had a great time at the Eric Jacobson workshop. You have certainly done a great job on this piece. Like the color work and the arrangements of shapes.
Wow Celeste! That's it. Its just a wow...
I'll "third" Casey and Don's "oooooohhhh," "aaaaaahhh," and add "wow!"
I am centered to the three trees, lovely colors, love the little cabin a few posts previously, too.
The reflection is perfect! Love it. (I hate that word in painting because perfection is boring, and this is anything but boring, but I am tired.) Maybe I should have just said oooooooohhhhh, aaaaaaaahhhhhhh.
This is an "oooohhhh" and an "aaaaahhhh."
I love how you gave us the reflection with it's different perspective, so clearly. And the strong color and shapes with it. Beautiful.
Hi Celeste, I Like the turquoise blue in the water, very nice, reflections!
Gorgeous! I absolutely love this Celeste.
