Landscape/river

I enjoyed considering the warms and cools of this scene (that I repainted from a previous color study).
Painting: Celeste Bergin, on the River, oil on 8x8 canvas panel (Update: SOLD!)

Your beautiful brushwork really creates a sense of atmosphere in this painting. I love everything about it - especially the harmony of color!

I recognized this scene immediately from the previous painting and like the way you controlled the temperature in this one. I still like the other one, too. It would be neat to see them hanging together.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I like the fuzziness (for lack of a better word). It makes the piece seem like it might be from a dream or on a cold morning w/ a bit of fog still hanging in the air. Very moody, very nice.

I could fly into that sky! Those warm notes in the land ballence out beautifully.

Wow, I just love your landscapes. So beautiful Celeste!
The looseness and color ... the whole feeling of it!

I could look at this all day--a dream of a painting.

This is a very serene meditative piece.
