Love it. It has a whimsical almost pop art feel to it.

Ah, a 20-year-old Coach bag? It might have been called the conductor's bag. I have one (and still use it). Beautiful work--I love the way you painted the shoulder strap.

This is as beautiful as the perfect "little black dress". I can almost smell the leather.

Thanks for becoming one of The Faithful. I'll try not to lead you astray.

You can take an ordinary subject and make it extraordinary! Well done!

Thanks Sheila, Sam Renee, Linda and Hallie (good eye! it is from the 80's and just as beautiful as it was back then). It's not really big enough though...all my sketch stuff doesn't fit in it!

I am at work, and I sneak a look at your blog (without commenting), then I come home and find a black purse. Beautiful painting. Like the colors. But what I really wanted to say was HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! The reason I didn't see your birthday post on your birthday was because I was too busy celebrating my son's 21st birthday which is also December 26th! So happy birthday, and I wish you a productive and happy ___-th or ____-st year!

You're right. The purse is waaay too small for your sketching gear. But, what a beauty! The clasp and variety you got in the black to show depth and shine ... A+

En cette fin d'année, elles sont bien plates nos bourses!!!
Très réussie l'harmonie des couleurs et le rendu du cuir...
Bisous
