Sketching after the PPASP meeting at Carolyn's

Today we had the "meeting after the meeting" at Carolyn's. (First we attend the PPASP breakfast meeting and then have a 2nd sketch meeting). We almost always just sketch whatever Carolyn has sitting out on her table. Today Carolyn also produced a box of pretty chocolates....(and an added benefit was getting to sample a few). To see what the others did go HERE.

Sketch: Celeste Bergin, Box of chocolates, watercolor & pen on 8 x 10 paper

Vous êtes une tentatrice ma chère Céleste avec cette boîte de chocolats... Heureusement que c'est un dessin autrement pour quelques minutes de plaisir, quelques années sur les hanches!
Très joli dessin que vous avez croqué!

This is so highly reflective of your skill, Celeste. I am looking at this one and just know that I couldn't have done it (except maybe the box). I saw all the pieces you did at that meet-up and they are all exquisite! How long were you painting to turn out so many beautiful little pieces?

Wow - excellent sketch! You concentrate on oil, I know, but every time I see one of your watercolor sketches I am blown away.

Looks delicious, if I were painting the chocolates it would be a disappearing model, as I would eat faster than I could paint...

Excellent! I could dive right in : ) Celeste, what materials do you use? And is it a watercolour paper sketchbook? Love the colour you've put in.

Everytime I see a box of chocolates
it reminds me of Forest Gump.
You did however make me want to have one! Thanks!

Between your scrumptious watercolor and the great pictures from the PPASP (I loved Carrie Holst's lonely little chocolate), I just had to do something.

So I ate some chocolate, and now I'll paint some. 'Tis the season.
