Solitary walker

This is an experiment in color temperature and simple shapes. It's propped against my wall until I decide if I want to do a larger version.

Painting: Celeste Bergin, Solitary walker, oil on 10x8 gallery wrap canvas

this is COOL. Plenty of information with minimal color or detail.

Wow - very effective! I love the atmospheric mood and mysterious figure. Your experiment with temperature really works.

I love the color in this - L-U influence. There is tension implied by the stance of the figure. The viewer will want to aid him in getting back to straight up and down.

It drew me here to see it up close! Very nice mood and
color combination. I agree with Kathy the figure is mysterious. Love it!

Another stunning work, Celeste. If I lived out there I'd beg you to be my mentor. I love your work, and these last two especially resonate within. Gorgeous!

Celeste! I could be that guy. It seems to express how I feel.

Nothing static about this guy. He's got someplace to go, and he's going there. The dark value makes it appear as if he's against the wind. A story in itself.
