Light & Shadow
I spent the day with my artist friends. We did some sketching and also went to the Mutlnomah Center for the Arts. See our sketches HERE. (It is so much fun to have artist friends...it should be illegal).

a real classic. Love the shadows and mystery!
Hi Celeste,
I love this one. Truly mysterious, moody and beautiful.
Sincerely,
Gary.
great as usual...
Gorgeous!
This is awesome, Celeste! So funny to read your words here. Why? Because when I was over at the BtS blog, I was thinking the very same thing. I so wish I had artist friends close by.
I have had a group of artists friends to hang out with in the past, but I do not right now. I am the kind of personality that can only take so much of the long hours in the studio before feeling like I am on a desert island, (" I made Fire! ") so the internet connection has been a huge help, but does not replace that contructive banter.
nice paint Celeste! I like that you are pushing the envelop and sometimes to the edge of the canvas!
You didn't know artist friends ARE illegal? that is what makes it so much fun; we meet on Mondays, check out Pieces of 8. I highly recommend forming such a group, very, very healthy!
Celeste! This is really good! Up close and personal, I can't think of another painting that has this impression. You are into some new areas. Wow!
