I ♥ the Gorgeous Gorge
I meant to finish the girl on the fence painting, but opted to take a day off of it. Why not, I work for myself, right? I have a couple of opportunities coming up where I might need to have some landscape to submit. I painted this using a previous painting for reference.
Painting: Celeste Bergin, The Gorge, oil on 8x8 canvas panel

There's a lot of luminosity in this.
Isn't it great being you own boss? You can do what you want, when you want, and if you don't like what the boss is telling you to do you can tell her to kiss your... oops, I got carried away. Sorry about that...
I love your Gorgeous Gorge. I agree with Casey about the luminosity. It glows.

So beautiful, Celeste! The horizontal strokes in the water give rise to the thought that the water must have been so peaceful and calm this day. Possibly the calm before the storm?
I agree, the Gorge is gorgeous. Your painting does a great job of sharing this with us.
Celeste I so love this painting . I have said this before about some of your paintings but this one I find so wonderful and cannot find other words to say what I feel forgive me but this one i love.
That is the great thing about being an artist... being able to be true to yourself!!
Good to drop in again Celeste!
mm-hmm. I love it, too.
Great classical design and aerial perspective, Celeste!
I'd like to be at that Gorge now--it's 95 here in southern VA. Beautiful.
Yes- this is gorgeous. And you never take time off!!!
I would love to come hang out in your studio and learn.
What a wonderful image! Yes, i know she's on a fence, but somehow she is perched up there in mid-air, sitting on a pole, sky above, sky below, Pollyanna and Mary Poppins with a dash of Aunt Maud and her wicked broomstick. Free and sassy.

Tank you for sharing
