"Less is more III" I'm continuing my limited palette series (white, cadmium yellow light, cadmium red, Ultramarine blue & cobalt blue).
In other news, today I sold The Ballerina. I love when a painting finds a new home!

I love this one - the depth, the movement in the stillness, the feeling of depth, the color. It reminds me of my visits to wildlife refuges, and the small streams.. :)
Fun colors! A nice spot to see.
Less is more, more or less.
J'aurais envie de m'allonger là, une herbe à la bouche pour seulement écouter l'eau qui bruit doucement...
Une lumière douce et cependant puissante baigne votre peinture... Vos couleurs sont magnifiques.
Gros bisous.
Do tell, was the sell on your own or a gallery? Congratulations.... thats wonderful. Beautiful, working with a limited palette seems to work for you.
I'm loving the limited palette, size and huge value range. So much in a small package!
Magnifique composition !
Congratulations on your sale and on another lovely work to add to your collection. I love a limited palette. I haven't used more than 6 colors in any one painting in a long time. Less definitely is more.

No surprise that the Ballerina sold, Celeste. It is a stunner for sure. This piece is beautiful too...I am a huge fan of any landscape that is done well and you are a master. What a gorgeous spot here! Love that little spring running through the field grasses.
Keep this up and I may learn names of colors--beautiful painting. Congratulations on the sale.
Beautiful landscape. I love the composition and the colours
