After painting a batch of green landscapes ....it's fun to turn my attention to RED. I liked working on implying "movement" too. I just have a few touch up type things to do to this and I'll consider it complete. It's a painting based on an Andre Kohn painting.
Painting: Celeste Bergin, Walking in the Rain, (homage painting) oil on 12x24 stretched canvas

really like the rd touch
I do see that the wind is wobbling the umbrella.
what else will you do to this? I remember you did another like this where the woman was walking away. It feels like a blustery day
What a fabulous piece!!!
Love that turn of foot, Celeste (you have the best vision!). Now I have that song "Lady in Red" going through my head...
If I saw this in a gallery, I'd know it was a Bergin. She's definitely moving along.
So beautiful! This one pulled me right over from my blog sidebar to see what it was - so the composition and colors really pull the viewer in.
Very nice Celeste. You certainly captured movement.
