Sketching at Carolyn's

I met up with Carrie after the PPASP breakfast meeting and we sketched things on Carolyn's table. (Carolyn is away, but she'll be back next week). I didn't really achieve the right green of Carrie's handbag...but half the fun for me is just getting something down without overthinking it. Go HERE to see what else we did.

I like the colors you pulled into the image; the cool reflective light is so good in this situation.

I loved all your sketches, Celeste. In fact, I found myself wanting this bag! LOL I am picturing it rather canvas-y and letter carrier-y. Not stiff and unyielding. You answered my question about when Carolyn was coming home too. Wish I could paint with you two (3)!
