Day two (for me) at Elio's Workshop. The location was Rooster Rock Park. Elio gave us a lecture about emphasis, temperature and brushstroke direction. After we were reminded of these important things many of us chose the scene facing east and looking down the Gorge.

Hi, Celeste,
So lovely and fresh! At first, I thought it was watercolour!

I just adore this cool color palette (I so love blues/greens/purples together) and the softness of this landscape. One of my favorites Celeste! Rather deceptively simple too; makes me look and ponder and wonder at your amazing skills!

This is so beautiful--what I imagine early morning looks like. When I enlarge it I can see every stroke.

The colors are so soft - you captured the calm beauty of place. Milton Avery colors, I think. Beautiful combination.
