wow-there is something otherworldly about this image-the halo-like umbrella could be considered a metaphor for lots of things....i especially like your brushwork and palette throughout the whole painting- absolutely beautiful!

This is so lovely, Celeste. I think it might be my favorite umbrella painting. At first glance, it made me think of Maxfield Parrish.

Love this, Celeste! It has an Oriental look about it.
The umbrella resembles the moon...thus my Oriental sounding title: Moon Umbrella.
Weird how my mind works, eh? :)
