Saturday!

I painted this impression of the ocean & sky with an extra long-handled brush. I'll probably add a little more detail (but not much).

Painting: Celeste Bergin, The Sea, oil on 8x8 stretched canvas

Mirrors the images in my head as to why I've always wanted to live along the ocean. Beautiful tempest!

If I keep calling you brilliant, you won't believe me. But what is, is. Every time I think I have an idea of what a "Celeste Bergin" piece is, you surprise me again. I love the way you smear that paint. This one, and the last one show a real mastery of the medium, I think.

At first I was just going to say I'm rendered speechless, but I guess that's not true. lol.

Have you ever done a B-I-G painting? I'd love to see you dance with a canvas.

Those long handles do wonders for painting loose, Celeste!
Also like the spray of white/foam at bottom right!
