I like this a lot; especially, those tall trees with the "skyholes."
Blogger is now like the supermarket--too many choices.
I like it and appreciate your taking the time to share what you're doing. Oil is so different than watercolor and I get impatient with the waiting process. Do you let your underpainting show through? xo Jenny
Well, I think I thought this was done at stage one! LOL I thought stage one was beautiful in and of itself. This is as though the scene is coming into more focus and it is just as gorgeous, though more detailed. Gosh, Celeste. You can slap me now. Did I do one of those things I've complained about??? LOL
I like where it's headed too and agree with Hallie that the tall trees with sky holes do nice things for the landscape. Ain't drying time a bitch--especially when you're full of enthusiasm and the excitement is building.
good progress!
This is a window into a landscape that's refreshing Celeste!
Your approuch to painting is creative, and inspiring.
Hi Celeste,
I feel like I've been to this spot. It's a very successful painting in every way.
Sincerely,
Gary.
Stage 1? Stage 2? Where am I? Whose blog is this? :)
It is coming along beautifully. The first one was good enough, but with the detail added it is springing to life. Wonderful, as always.
Love the trees!
I love the colours in this, so fresh and inviting.
