Thursday!
Today I got to take a little road trip to Goose Lake in Washington. It's about 140 miles round trip from Portland. The lake was beautiful....but the changing trees caught my eye. I did some watercolor sketches and this quick oil too.

Oh so lovely, Celeste! I don't think I'd visited Goose Lake when I lived in WA. Nice to see deciduous trees there as I found we had much more pines than deciduous. Still, a gorgeous state just like your own! I am trying to figure out how you always have such gorgeous work and at such a pace! It takes me forever to do one piece!
That foliage looks gorgeous! We have a few trees like that here that are turning too.
