Today I went to the PPASP meeting and to the "meeting after the meeting" for sketching. I also revisted this cafe still life a little, to heighten the red. Tuesdays...... are good days!

Proprio belli questi tuoi ultimi lavori sulla luce. Brava ciao Graziano
I know you three must have a blast after the meetings. Not to mention the fun you have at the meetings...Yes indeed. Tuesdays are a good day for the PPASP! Love this one; reminds me of a good old fashioned diner and some of the best burgers and fries!
there is a tinge of green in the salt shaker that looks good next to the red ketchup. It's subtle, but I see it. Is this O'Connor's?
you have me thinking about condiments and complements
Wonderful atmosphere Celeste! I love how you turned this simple subject into a great painting.
Love the judicious use of bright accents on the shaker and ketchup bottle, Celeste! That red is perfect!
I love the atmosphere too of this painting Celeste--is has a "period" feel to it--like Hopper.
And this is a great painting, simple but with an atmosphere of 'once upon a time'.
Tuesdays are special to me, too. It is so fun to have a sketching session with my friends.
This painting is nice, Celeste. I agree that the subtle color notes really make it.
This is my kind of still life - love the subject matter. So well done. I like the soft edges …suggestion rather than detail.
I like the way some of the planes line up with the window sill.
