Monday!

I worked on my painting of the walker today...but it is so late now, I can't photograph it...(too dark).  Instead I will post a drawing I did at Hipbone Studio. I like the strong contrast. This was a three minute pose and I ran out of time before finishing.

Life Drawing: Celeste Bergin, Guy at Hipbone, charcoal on 16x20 paper

Very strong drawing, and maybe it is good that you ran out of time....it's brilliant.

You did that in three minutes, Celeste? Truly amazing! I love charcoal pieces, especially when someone else does them. Mine always make my hands feel icky and get too dirty looking. As do I.

You captured a lot in just 3 minutes!! Great sketch and I loved your redcoat/umbrella walker start - I thought it was finished as it was so will be interesting to see what else you did :)

Splendid shading, Celeste, but my heart goes out to the really beautiful umbrella girl.
