Saturday .....at the Japanese Garden
I wound up at the Japanese Garden today. It was raining, but a shelter provided a pleasant place for sketching. I also stopped into the Pavilion to see "Mottainai": The Fabric of Life exhibit .....and I recognized the author Ursula Le Guin taking in the show along side me. How's that for a "High Brow"Saturday?!

Your days are always so full of interesting and fun things to do, Celeste! I'm awed. Love this ink wash painting too. I just yesterday played with some ink on a watercolor. Unfortunately, I have to cut away that section, but now I see how ink washes work!
I haven't been to the Japanese Garden in a long time. I bet it is good to be there in the rain. Good sketch!
Un moment plaisir... Un dessin plein de charme.
Ici, en France nous avons eu de la pluie +++. dans certaines régions même, pour beaucoup, des maisons inondées.
J'ai passé une journée agréable à l'atelier
Gros bisous
l am liking your sketch and Eerything that you do seems high brow! Seriously! I am a hillbilly in comparison
