Sunday

"Touch the earth, love the earth, honor the earth, her plains, her valleys, and her seas; rest your spirit in her solitary places.....for the gifts of life are the earth’s and they are given to all".

Hi Celeste,
somebody is getting wet! Hope was not you. A great moment in time, one can smell it!

Mariano is right--you can smell the rain. This is a beauty and so was yesterday's flower painting.

I too can smell the rain, feel it on my skin and hear the breeze freshening. Once again, I'm so glad that you paint.

Absolute perfection, Celeste! You've so captured what I loved about the PNW - yes, the rain. It never bothered me nor depressed me. Beautiful cloudy skies, rich greens, and nature at its finest.

Wow, Celeste! This painting looks like it must be much larger than just 6x6 since it has such a strong presence. Great work!

That painting looks like it was just too much fun to paint and accompanied by a great quote. Well done my friend!

Hi Celeste,
This is a beautiful painting. The sense of space you've achieved on this small format is nothing short of amazing. Coupled with the atmosphere, I feel like I could walk right into the painting.
Simply outstanding work.
Sincerely,
Gary.

Celeste, your painting is as beautiful as Henry Bestons' poem.

It touches a chord of trueth. (Your painting and the poem)
