Friday!

Today I met up with some PPASP & North Portland Painters and we painted in Kat Sowa's studio in Cathedral Park Place. Kat had two floral set ups for us to choose from. To see what others painted go HERE.

I knew right where you were standing when I looked at the photos on BtS, Celeste. You did the most wonderful job with this; I love the white; makes the subject appear that much more prominent! Beautiful job on the perspective of those flowers too, especially the tulip!

Celeste your florals have a lovely classic quality whereas Kat Sowa's and Quin Sweetman's renditions move towards the contemporary. The different responses, albeit moods, to the same still life set up is very interesting. A lot of individualism.
