Wonderful feeling of distance and mood.

So dramatic and oh so beautiful, Celeste! A new favorite of mine (ok, I admit I'm easy when it comes to works of art). The one thing that you manage to imbue in all of your work - and something I rarely see - is MOOD. I think that must be your passion for painting coming through. Gorgeous!

Où nous conduit ce charmant cours d'eau... Il nous emporte lentement au gré de sa fantaisie et nous ensorcelle...
Gros bisous

Nice how you transition from warm to cool greys. Simple and elegant.

Nice range of grays Celeste. Gray is such a fun non-color to work with. Add a blue to the composition and the adjacent gray will orange up.

Nice one Celeste -- really like the limited palette and the shimmer on the water...well done!

my eye moves up the creek, to the horizon and right back in again-nicely done.
