This little 4x4 shows the power of small. Every stroke counts and says so much. It's good poetry.

I love this one, Celeste. Gorgeous natural colors and a bit of abstract. For some reason, Van Gogh's cypresses come to mind as well.

As for my piece, it was all imagination, no references. I am not at all happy with it. It is quite juvenile looking. Back to the drawing board.

I love small paintings. They have a charm to them that is lost in big paintings. And you certainly captured that here. I assume those are willows... Gorgeous!

This is cool--I think the trees have been shocked and their needles are standing on end. I like the colors.
