I painted today...it's a large painting. I can't show it to you (because I am submitting it in on Monday and I have this thing where I don't show the work unless/until it is accepted. (I don't want to jinx it) So...I'll blog a blank canvas...don't you think there is something lovely about a blank canvas? It seems like a good metaphor ........for what can be.
(......After my painting session I was rewarded with a "cat blanket").

That is why I don't show a painting in process-I may jinx it!:):):)
Love the cat blanket, those little sweethearts:)
What a tease! I assume you'll eventually show it. Until then, I guess we'll have to be satisfied with this photo of three very satisfied-looking Cheshire Cat grins.
Good luck on the submission, can't wait to see it. I agree, the possibilities of what can be, are endless.....
The metaphor for what can be, the freedom, the endless possibility -these are the reasons I named my art blog Dan's Canvas.. :)
Good luck on your submission!
I always find a blank canvas to be very scary. I tend to cover it up as fast as I can :)
We know this white canvas will soon be a beautiful painting.
Crossing my fingers that it gets accepted. A blank canvas invokes pleasure and fear at the same time.
Ahhh, the two cat night, nothing like a little furry heating pad. I might need a few more than two to keep me warm as it going to -11 tonight. :)
Love that picture of you with the cats...looks so cozy.
Best wishes on your submission!
You leave us wondering!
oh those cats look so very much like one I had and one (of two) I have now.
I love cats.
