This is a re-do of an old painting* that I painted over in the open painting session offered at Srebnik's studio today. My original photo reference was misplaced, so I had to "wing-it" and make things up. Well, it's all just for practice and I made improvements for sure.
*Craig encourages painters to bring paintings to the session that have been problematic, so he can offer advice.

Hi, Red. You're a hot ticket!
She looks good to me! Even if she was faulty prior to the corrections, she had to be so much better than any of my figures.
A strange turn of events, but a happy outcome
Thank you, Sam, Dave B, BoholstWife and Dave S. I presume you are referring to the blog disappearance? Maybe it was some sort of April Fool situation!
Thanks for the comments, all! :)
love the sweep of red hair!
Good to see you back online! Damn hackers!!
I wondered if it was an April Fool, too. But, this woman gives red hair a whole new feeling!!!! Wow!
Great movement in her hair, Celeste! I love redheads; I was one when I was born, my oldest daughter and both her kids are natural redheads too. Love the almost blurred features too...adds to that feeling of movement! I'm so glad to know that it was a blogspot issue as well. Things just happen so fast in today's world, I worry!
