A sketch of a dude in Starbucks...and I do mean dude, because he wore a dramatically long coat. I think they call them dusters. Just as I started to get to the coat .......he got up and left.
Happy Tuesday!

Oh to be able to sketch like this and do it so quickly (while people watching) is just such a wonderful skill!
My Fluffy has the same pose. Do you ever travel with him? I want to take Fluffy back to Holland with me and have never done that.

I love those coats--was it a Pinkerton guy's coat. They look great with jeans and boots--get caught in car doors though. Nice sketch. The Pinkerton man sat quietly. What sketching pens do you use? Everyone I buy seems to dry up too quickly which means I'm going to a supply store with low turnover.
At first I didn't know what the fuzzy thing was in the chair. Daisy looks like one big fur ball. My nose started to itch and my eyes teared and I realized Daisy couldn't be my cat. I cried my eyes out though Saturday night when I watched Marley and Me again. I missed my black lab. He was hairy too.
Daisey makes me want to stretch.
The dude in the duster got up just in time. I like how this looks like a sketchus interruptus.
Daisy is a slug.
Beautiful drawing.
Hate it when they leave like that! ;) Great sketch!
Now, regarding your cat - I see a parallel between the two pictures. Can you see it? This may be like the Rothko a few posts back: the wavy line extending down the left side of the page opposite the hand. That, Celeste, is a cat!
Daisy is adorable!
