This is so lovely Celeste...the colors are soft and so pleasant. I love your chunky brush strokes too. Have a great weekend!
Dans cette dernière peinture j'aime le travail des ombres et des lumières... Votre arrosoir en fer blanc est superbe.Le tout sur de belles notes musicales...Gros bisous
Martine wrote:In this last painting I like the work of light and shadow ... Tin watering can is great. All on beautiful musical notes ...big kisses(thanks Martine!)
And you even like my kind of music! We're just meant to be friends! This is a gorgeous sunflower piece, Celeste. I love how the flowers are in the watering can, I love that they aren't in your face. Truly beautiful work. And that song could get me dancing.
Shades of Van Gough...love these, in a jug, informally formal as they bow their heads, acknowledging us.The colours seem unexpected but work so well in the light...Music's good too :0)
Portraits, rain studies, flowers--your eyes and hand are definitely in synch, the Bergin touch.
Love, Love, Love...Beautiful strokes!
Thank you so much for visitiing me! I'm way offline and just caught your comment when checking email. This painting is so yummy. It pops. I am painting this morning and this inspired me even more than the plan I have for my canvas. I'm in stage two (painting flowers myself) Isn't paint and light and color just the BEST thing in life? Well, some of the best things. Well... it kind of depends on if I'm hungry or want to read or feel like snuggling or have a cold and need chicken soup or if I'm watching baseball... Okay, it's all good.Happy weekend!
good design + simply stated
Beautiful sunflowers! I especially like them coupled with white, very fresh and different point of view.
Nicely painted, Celeste! Among many other things, I like how the stems are scratched in!
I always love your flowers, great energy here !
