Beautiful blues and such a moody piece. You are so successful at putting moods into a piece, Celeste. I'm not quite sure how you do this, but you do it beautifully. Can't decide if there is a storm approaching with the darkness or just the darkness itself encroaching. Either way, it is gorgeous.
Thank you Sadami, Martine, Carrie, Sherry, Laura, John, Hallie and Jan. The painting was painted as a tribute to my great-nephew Jason Hart who died in an accident on Sunday. Thank you all for your comments.
How horrible. I'm so sorry. I was just checking your Tuesday painting and kept reading condolences. I had to find out what happened. This blue landscape is wonderfully moving. I hope it helped. It's so tragic to lose anyone you love, especially a young person.

I can lost me in this landscape... very nice
Wow1 That's a bit special, Celeste ... it really involves/draws-in the viewer.
So much atmosphere ... and brooding adventure, just about to happen. Love it!

I am so very sorry. How horrible. The thing that struck me about this painting was the emptiness, the calm. A beautiful tribute.

This could be my favorite of yours so far. I am sorry to read in the comments that you lost a loved one. Sympathy to you and your family.
No había visto esta entrada,Celeste...Qué impactante es en color y figura, y en la manera en que has hecho "clamar" a tu pincel.
Hermosa dedicatoria,además.
