Monday "Drawing Salon"

Meeting at Mary McClain's for the Monday Drawing Salon was fun!

Sketch, Celeste Bergin, Mary McClain in her backyard, watercolor and ink in sketchbook (I tried to channel Sadami...!)

Sketch, Celeste Bergin, Cookie the dog (from above), brown ink in sketchbook

(Lots of room at the outdoor tables for props, food and sketchbooks!)

Thanks for inviting me, Mary! :)

Just a quick hello ... I will make you large kisses and wish you good times and good paint! I will return to visit in mid-September, immediately on my return.

(thanks, Martine!)

Nice sketches in a nice setting

Looks like you had a great time - I love the informality of it all, seems a lot of fun.

I hope Alice is feeling better. In my haste I never really sympathised at the time ... sorry. It's only on a later visit that I read others peoples comments and realised that she was really poorly. Many apologies.

Thanks (again) Martine, David, John and Sherry. Appreciate your comments, as always!
John, who is Alice? Did you mean Daisy, my cat? If so, - -thanks to all the veterinary care, she doing just great.
Thanks for your concern. :)

Ooops, Alice is my niece's cat ... it sounds like Daisy though ... especially if you're me ... which you're not ... so it isn't!!! :0))

Glad she OK ... are you sure it's Daisy? She looks more like an Alice.

PS I just remembered ... my niece's cat is Peggy

Hahaha...thanks John, for the explanation! Daisy does seem such an ordinary name for such an extraordinary cat...but when we named her we decided she seemed perky, happy and a bit unassuming....like a "Daisy". Thanks for caring about her--she is doing so much better. :)
