Today I met with art friends Nila Baker, Michael Lindstrom and Cam Morrison. Nila arranged for us to go the Hilderbrand Garden in Oregon City. I painted this study at the entrance. To see what the others painted...go HERE.

Such nice texture and clean brushwork...I am tempted to find such postcard size canvasses!
Such a beautiful little landscape, Celeste. I love the tree, the colors, the light. Oh to have this level of talent!
Study?! This seems like a fully actualized piece to me. I love the clouds and the shape and placement of the tree. I would hang this in a millisecond.
Have to agree with Dan. Expertly painted!
Such a stark composition, but so full of life! The energy in the sky really makes it.
I had a great time Celeste. This is a sweet little painting and many thanks for sharing the days events.
Thanks so much, Marie, Sherry, Dan, David, Shane and Michael...very much appreciate your comments!
