Painting: Celeste Bergin, Sandy River, oil on 8x8 canvas panel
Today I changed out a plexiglas base for glass in my Easy L pochade box. I know that the glass will make the box heavier, but it will be easier to clean. Dave helped by caulking the glass into the box. (Thanks, Dave!)
Look how beautifully clear that water is! Makes me want to step into it much as you did with one of your recent plein aire adventures! I have a heck of a time cleaning up after oil paints. I haven't a clue how to clean a palette since the paint always dries so darned hard. I prefer to use tin foil when I paint with oils for some odd reason.
Nice scene ... I was visiting down there this last week. That area can be gorgeous!
I tired plexiglas also but I couldn't get use to how hard it was to clean so I purchased and now always use reall glass. With the real glass its a snap to clean. And I don't find it TOO heavy.

The question for me is: how long can you keep churning out these wonderful landscapes? Each one a gem! What a series - masterful.

Sandy River is painted SO beautifully. Great job.
Gosh! What a gorgeous painting. That one is a winner:)
I want to enter your painting ..... and paint! Really beautiful!
John's right. Your landscapes are great. Nice easy handling of the paint. The easel looks great too I watched the demo on the link.
How ironic... I recently switched from plastic to glass, too. Yes, heavier, but you will be SO glad!
