Here is a cool video I just discovered...every painting on display at the Frye Museum during August:

Is that a little beach area alongside the Columbia River? What a wonderful place to visit! And sometimes I don't know what I am talking about. I just revisited yesterday's beautiful painting and I don't know why I said it was a slightly different style...It is still an obvious Celeste Bergin piece. I guess I was contrasting it with the darker piece from a couple of days ago. I explain too much, talk too much and act like you are sitting in the room with me. Oy vey. Anyway, this is just so pretty and I find myself wishing I could be beneath the trees along this small section of beach and just watching the water.

Portraits, treed landscapes, portraits, destination landscapes, portraits. Interesting. The Frye is a fantastic museum--one of the ones Ellis loved as much as I did. Oh I think this makes me hungry for NYC, The Frye, The MOMA, the Metropolitan, the Whitney and then over to the Brooklyn to see The Dinner Party.

Lovely landscape Celeste. Summer is still with us. Your painting says so--and so does the picnic I'm going on today.

Another really good painting, Celeste. I've been to that same spot. Turned out nice.
