Life painting session --Jeff

Tonight I attended a "Candlelight" modeling session at Janet Amundson-Splidsboel's Studio. (It's a misnomer..... candles aren't involved, but the sessions do take place in the evening, in Janet's basement). We had a great movie-star looking model and the time just flew by.

To see what everyone else did go HERE.

That sounds like it was a fabulous evening, Celeste! I think it would have been rather unique painting by candlelight! LOL You did a wonderful job on this handsome gentleman! And thank you too for your kind words to me. Methinks I don't deserve them.

I am always amazed at how some artists are able to paint a portrait in such a short time like this. I would need so much more time! Great job. He has strong features.

Barb Wilkenson really was best of show. Wonderful full figure accomplishment in an evening, both depressing and inspiring considering the saga of Zac. Janet's well equipped basement is very impressive. Great idea. What was the cost per artist?

I do not like it when I wind up in the profile position at a life session, however, I think you did an excellent job of it. Can I get in on these sessions?

Thank you novelles, David, LW, Sheryl, Lisa, Manel and Sherry!
LW--the fee is in the area of 10 dollars per artist plus tip for the model --that's pretty standard, I think! :)

Appreciate your comments :)
