Monday-Monday!

I like practice painting on magazine pages...nothing to it, lighthearted fun, no stress...I recommend it!

Painting: Celeste Bergin, Practice Flowers, oil on magazine page

Earlier today I ran into some talented artists at Columbia Art Gallery. The "Paparazzi" was there to mark the occasion. (L to R Sally O'Neill, Amanda Houston, me and Karen E. Lewis)

I always love when you paint on magazine pages. I think it always looks amazing and quite frame worthy. And my! You do move in some wonderful circles, my friend.

Are you saying that painting on a magazine page is easy to do because you feel relaxed not painting on an expensive canvas? I like how it looks. You and your friends are all so talented.

Great groups--botanical and humans.

Good to see a photo of you and your art friends. I often paint on paper, it is a good idea. Of course, the downside is that one risks coming up with something great that won't last archivally.

Magazine pages? That's very resourceful and creative. Beautiful painting, too!

What a great idea! I'll try the magazine support.
But looking at your gorgeous floral makes me wish it were painted on something with longevity. Beautiful work.
