Green green, it's green they say on the far side of the hill*

As an experiment I painted a routine scene, but I changed the natural colors into one predominant color.  Palette: pthalo green, sap green, ultramarine blue, lemon yellow, just a touch of alizarin and white. I like how it came out! It was a great week, and I hope yours was a good one too---(here's a slide show: Some highlights of the week in review):

Ahhh, such a gorgeous painting, Celeste! My favorite palette too. And look at that sky...maybe a storm looming? Yesterday I was studying my lady piece that you gave me...your work is amazing. And yes, I changed the blog color again. I think I'm going to try to paint a little this a.m. I'll never get to it again if I don't just dig in and get over myself and how terrible I am.

You are an amazingly social butterfly who also managed to do a painting with "Great Greens!" Those were the first words out of my mouth as your site opened.

Such a lush green painting. It's been a while since I read the Enquirer--always fun.

Un verde y muchos verdes que todo lo aúnan,y lo concentran en una sola expresión maravillosa. El resultado: tu obra preciosa.

Abrazos y felicitaciones!
