At the last minute I threw a figure into this landscape just for fun (click to enlarge). There are some adjustments yet to make, but I like the strong contrast and all the green!

Love the buttery sky as it makes the greens ever so "greener"
Good decision to put in the lonely person in the overwhelming green. The red contrasts wonderfully with the green and that small lonely person shows how big the scene is.
Beautiful painting.
Nice "throw!"
The red makes a huge positive difference.
Bravo Celeste!

I like the red hat bobbing along too. The sunlight beams are gorgeous, my friend.
The figure is a great addition! But, I admit to liking the atmospheric sky the best:)
Wonderful painting, the snapshot doesn't do it justice, it came to life when I enlarged it! You're right, the figure gives the landscape a different dimension, a sense of how large the trees are. Just beautiful!
I think one small suggestion of humanity in a landscape makes the painting more interesting to the viewer. A touch of humanity pulls the viewer in. I like the expanse of this painting against the little guy.
Interesting how you can turn a landscape into a story. Did you know that little guy was there when you painted the rest?
Excellent painting, Celeste!!
you have conquered the greens .... very nice!
It reminds me of a Monet--you know the one!
As I find greens difficult to use I admire this one very much.
